Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories, and carousels) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
- Develop and execute weekly/monthly content calendars aligned with our brand, menu highlights, events (e.g. Karaoke Night), and promotions
- Capture or coordinate high-quality photos and short videos of food, drinks, ambience, and events
- Manage community engagement — reply to comments, DMs, and reviews promptly and professionally
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns (boosts, ads) to increase reach, foot traffic, and reservations
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and audience insights; recommend content and campaign improvements
- Track and report key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, website clicks, bookings) weekly/monthly
- Collaborate with management on brand messaging, seasonal campaigns, and special events
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects the energy, quality, and vibe of Cedar Grillz & Lounge
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media for a restaurant, lounge, hospitality brand, or similar lifestyle business (portfolio required)
- Strong content creation skills — photography, short-form video editing (CapCut, InShot, or similar), and graphic design (Canva or Adobe)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook algorithms and best practices
- Experience running and analyzing paid social ads is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Available to cover evenings and weekends when needed (events, peak periods)
- Based in or able to regularly visit Gwarinpa / Abuja
- Passion for food, nightlife, and creating experiences people want to share
