Title: Business Development Officer (Trustee)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Officer with a strong background in trusteeship and financial services.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by sourcing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and promoting trustee-related products to corporate and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within trusteeship, asset management, and financial services.
- Source and close trustee mandates, including trust structures, bonds, and collective investment schemes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, institutional clients, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Establish referral networks with legal firms, financial advisors, and investment institutions.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities within capital markets and structured finance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field with 2 - 4 years’ experience in business development within Trusteeship firms, Asset management companies, Pension fund administration or Fund or portfolio administration / custody services.
- Proven track record of revenue generation and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of trust structures, capital markets, and financial products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship management and networking abilities.
- High level of professionalism and credibility.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, ACA, CFA) are an added advantage.
Salary
N10,000,000 - N13,000,000 annually.
