Job Summary
- The Chief Financial Officer will be the Head of Accounts, holding himself accountable to only the CEO and Board, and also holding every single staff that manages financial services accountable to him, across all branches of the Company. Together with Chief Operation Officer, the Chief Medical Director, the Company Secretary, he will co-manage every single aspect of the hospital.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc in Finance/Accounting) is highly desirable.
- Professional Qualifications in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA)
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
- At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role. People without competitive experience should not apply.
- Experience in private healthcare financing or specialty hospitals is an added advantage.
- Experience in financial planning, corporate finance, and risk management.
- A CFO with the capacity to prepare financial models tailored to the objectives of the hospital, work with existing business plans, or develop business plans and financial models that can support the expansion and fundraising efforts of the hospital.
- Expertise to critically review the terms and conditions attached to funding opportunities and appropriately advising the hospital on their suitability.
- Capacity to represent the hospital in engagements with investors and other funding partners.
- Ability to provide strategic financial leadership to support the expansion and growth of the hospital.
- Ability to develop and strengthen the business case for raising funds.
- Demonstrable experience in corporate expansion and raising capital.
- Ability to effectively manage existing and incoming funds, ensuring they are properly planned, allocated, and utilized.
Salary
N2,500,000 monthly.
