Job Summary 

• We are seeking to hire a reliable and responsible Driver to provide safe and timely transportation services as required by the school.
• The ideal candidate must be punctual, safety-conscious, and familiar with Lagos routes.
• The successful candidate should also demonstrate good character, professionalism, and the ability to properly maintain the assigned vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation as assigned by the school.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle, including fuel, tyres, oil, brakes, lights, and other essential components.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled and ready for daily operations.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies.
• Plan routes efficiently and use alternative routes where necessary to avoid traffic delays.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, traffic violations, or other vehicle-related concerns promptly.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance where required.
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, patience, and good conduct when interacting with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the vehicle is securely parked and properly maintained when not in use.
• Perform other driving-related duties as may be assigned by the school management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ professional driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s Licence.
• Must be able to read and write effectively.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic conditions.
• Must demonstrate responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious behaviour.
• Ability to drive and maintain a vehicle responsibly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual, neat, courteous, and professional.
• Previous experience working in a school or similar organization is an added advantage.
• Candidates residing within or around Orchid, Lekki, and surrounding areas are preferred.

Benefits

• Salary: N110,000 monthly
