Finance & Account Manager

Job Summary
- We are supporting a fast-growing organisation in the food and beverage distribution sector to recruit an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager.
- This is a strategic and hands-on finance leadership role for a commercially minded professional who can go beyond accounting and reporting to drive profitability, cash flow, financial controls, business intelligence and sound business decisions.
- The role reports directly to the MD / CEO and will play a key role in strengthening the finance function and supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Drive cash-flow, working-capital and receivables management.
- Analyse profitability across products, customers, channels and territories.
- Partner with the MD/CEO and leadership team on financial and commercial decisions.
- Strengthen financial controls, compliance and risk management.
- Build dashboards and financial insights that support data-driven decisions.
- Improve finance systems, processes and automation as the business scales.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in Finance / Accounting, preferably within FMCG, distribution, trading, manufacturing or another fast-moving commercial environment.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, management reporting, cash-flow management and commercial analysis.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience using accounting/ERP systems; QuickBooks experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience working directly with senior management, CEOs, MDs or business owners.
- A track record of improving business performance through financial insight, stronger controls, systems improvement or commercial decision-making.
Salary
N1,000,000 – N1,500,000 gross monthly.
