Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical competence, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders and established protocols.
Perform clinical evaluations, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage patient records.
Assist in the management of emergency, medical, and surgical cases.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
Support the healthcare team in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans, medication use, and health maintenance.
Demonstrate leadership and teamwork, mentoring junior staff where necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must hold a current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Minimum of 1 year of hospital work experience.
Competent in the clinical evaluation and management of emergency, medical, and surgical cases.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in basic computer operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Client-oriented and capable of handling complex or emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
