Role Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Lead to oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems while providing leadership for technology initiatives that support business operations.
- The role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage both IT support and strategic technology improvements.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, networks, and communication systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Technical Support & Service Delivery:
- Lead IT support activities and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related challenges.
- Establish and maintain effective IT support processes and procedures.
Network Administration
- Manage LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, wireless infrastructure, and VPN services.
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and security.
- Monitor network usage and optimize performance where necessary.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
- Implement and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain firewalls, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection systems, and access controls.
- Monitor for security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential breaches.
- Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery readiness.
Systems Administration:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and access rights.
- Oversee software updates, patches, upgrades, and system maintenance activities.
- Ensure business continuity through proper system management and redundancy measures.
Hardware Maintenance & Asset Management:
- Troubleshoot and repair computer systems, printers, networking devices, and related IT equipment.
- Manage IT inventory and asset lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate hardware procurement, repairs, and replacements.
Digital Transformation & Technology Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
- Recommend and implement innovative IT solutions.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and automation projects.
Vendor & Service Provider Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Coordinate procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, and subscriptions.
- Monitor vendor performance and service-level agreements.
Training & User Support:
- Conduct user training on IT systems, applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop user guides and technical documentation.
- Promote effective utilization of technology resources across the organization.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years experience in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or IT management roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, networking, and enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, firewalls, antivirus systems, and backup solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtual environments, and modern collaboration tools is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
