Job Summary
- Beautiful Beginning Academy is looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Head of Nursery to lead our Early Years section and provide a strong foundation for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Nursery section.
- Supervise and support Nursery teachers to deliver high-quality early years education.
- Develop engaging learning experiences that promote children's literacy, numeracy, creativity, and confidence.
- Monitor children's progress and ensure age-appropriate learning outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents through regular communication and support.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for every child.
- Work closely with school management to improve teaching standards and the overall Nursery programme.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Early Years or Nursery education, with leadership experience being an added advantage.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of child development and early years learning.
- Ability to teach and develop children's reading and writing skills in the Nursery section is a strong advantage.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
