Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic procurement leader to manage end-to-end sourcing activities, drive supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives in the Oil and Gas Sector.
Manage the annual procurement budget and deliver significant cost savings and value improvements.
Oversee the entire tender lifecycle-from demand planning, RFx development, and bid evaluation to negotiation, award, and contract execution for major CAPEX and OPEX projects.
Spearhead the process of registering and qualifying the company with key International Oil Companies (IOCs). Manage ongoing performance and relationships with IOCs and a portfolio of strategic suppliers.
Develop deep category strategies for critical areas such as drilling, piping, valves, structural steel, EPC services, logistics, and MRO.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and supplier financial risks.
Ensure robust contract administration, monitor compliance, and manage variations and disputes.
Act as the primary procurement interface for senior management, project directors, and technical departments.
Liaise directly with IOCs’ procurement and supply chain teams to understand their requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or Masters degree is a strong advantage.
7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership/senior management role within the Oil and Gas Industry.
Demonstratable experience managing multi-million-dollar, complex tenders for the Oil and Gas Projects.
Must have hands-on experience in the process of registering and maintaining vendor status with International Oil Companies (IOCs).
Familiarity with their compliance, HSE, and commercial systems is essential.

Salary
N500,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
