Job Title: Retail Branch Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations and performance of the branch.
- Drive sales, revenue growth and branch profitability in line with approved targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer traffic, sales and repeat patronage.
- Monitor daily sales and operational performance and take corrective action where required.
- Lead, supervise, motivate and evaluate branch staff to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Ensure proper stock management, availability of products and effective inventory control.
- Monitor cash handling, reconciliation and compliance with financial controls.
- Ensure the branch is properly merchandised, clean, organized and maintained to company standards.
- Work closely with Pharmacy, Supermarket, Finance, HR, Audit and other relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and operational standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate branch reports and provide regular updates on branch performance.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to management.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, accountability, safety and professionalism within the branch.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree / HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, preferably in a supermarket, pharmacy, FMCG or large-format retail environment.
- Proven experience managing a team and delivering sales and profitability targets.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail/POS systems is an advantage.
