Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Product Development & Business Manager to lead the development and commercialization of cosmetic products from concept to market.
- The ideal candidate will combine cosmetic formulation expertise with strong project management, business strategy, and commercial acumen to develop innovative products, drive departmental growth, and identify new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cosmetic product development from formulation to commercial launch.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct research on cosmetic trends, ingredients, and market opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, GMP, and industry standards.
- Coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support product pricing, commercialization, and go-to-market activities.
- Develop business strategies to grow the Cosmetics Department and identify new revenue-generating opportunities, including consulting, formulation services, contract manufacturing, product licensing, and strategic partnerships.
- Present project updates, business cases, and strategic recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 5–6 years' experience in cosmetic product development or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, ingredient science, NAFDAC registration, and GMP.
- Proven experience managing products from concept to commercial launch.
- Strong business strategy, commercial planning, and revenue generation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities beyond routine project execution.
- Cosmetics manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 monthly.
