Customer Care / Front Desk Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Customer Care / Front Desk Officer is responsible for creating a positive first impression of the company and providing professional, courteous and timely assistance to customers, visitors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- The officer will manage front-desk activities, respond to customer enquiries and complaints, receive and direct visitors and calls, maintain accurate customer records, and support the sales and administrative teams in ensuring excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and receive customers, visitors, suppliers and other guests professionally.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors.
- Receive and respond to enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp and other approved communication channels.
- Receive and distribute incoming correspondence, parcels and documents.
- Follow up on customer requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Receive customer orders through approved channels and forward them to the appropriate sales or operations team.
- Assist customers with product selection and basic product information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and other related course
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to use email and internet-based communication platforms.
