Job Overview
- A Terminal Clerk is responsible for supporting daily terminal or transport operations by handling documentation, coordinating shipments or passenger activities, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between departments, drivers, customers, and terminal management.
- The role is common in logistics, shipping, transportation, airports, bus terminals, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipping, cargo, or passenger documents
- Maintain accurate records of terminal activities and transactions
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, loading, and unloading schedules
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and terminal staff
- Monitor cargo or passenger movement within the terminal
- Handle data entry and update operational databases
- Verify invoices, tickets, manifests, and delivery documents
- Assist with customer inquiries and service support
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Report operational issues or delays to supervisors
Qualifications
- Education: Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree
- Field of Study: Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in terminal, logistics, or transport operations
- Knowledge: Maritime/ports, aviation, transportation, and haulage operations

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / month.
