About the Role
- A prestigious high-net-worth household in Lagos State is seeking a professional, experienced, and dedicated Nanny to provide attentive care and support for a 10-year-old boy.
- The ideal candidate must understand the standards expected in a private high-net-worth home and demonstrate professionalism, discretion, maturity, reliability, and excellent work ethics.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsible care for the 10-year-old child.
- Support the child with his daily routines, personal organisation, and activities.
- Assist with school preparation, homework, reading, and age-appropriate educational activities.
- Plan and engage the child in meaningful, productive, and stimulating activities.
- Prepare or assist with the child’s meals and ensure good feeding habits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the child's room, belongings, and personal areas.
- Accompany the child when required for outings, activities, appointments, or school-related engagements.
- Monitor the child’s wellbeing and communicate appropriately with the parents.
- Encourage good manners, discipline, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Handle the child's clothes, school items, toys, books, and personal belongings with care.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family and household.
- Perform other child-related duties as reasonably required by the family.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Nanny, preferably with school-age children.
- Experience working in a high-net-worth or private household is highly advantageous.
- Must be mature, responsible, patient, organised, and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills and good command of English.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of child safety and safeguarding.
- Professional appearance and conduct are essential.
- Must be respectful of household privacy and confidentiality.
- Must be flexible and able to work according to the family’s schedule.
- Professionalism, experience, dedication, and commitment are non-negotiable.
Salary
N200,000 per month.
