Business Administrator

Job Summary
- The Business Administrator will work closely with Executive Management to ensure that business objectives are translated into measurable performance, financial discipline and effective execution.
- The role requires an individual who can confidently work with numbers, people, processes and performance, while providing leadership across business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Commercial Management:
- Support budgeting, cash-flow planning, revenue tracking and cost control.
- Monitor income, expenditure, receivables and payables.
- Track project revenue, profitability, invoicing and collections.
- Prepare financial and commercial analysis for management decision-making.
- Identify cost-reduction and business-efficiency opportunities.
- Work closely with Finance to strengthen financial controls and reporting.
Business Performance Management:
- Translate strategic objectives into measurable KPIs and targets.
- Monitor departmental and individual performance.
- Maintain business performance dashboards and management reports.
- Track sales pipeline, contracts, projects, revenue and business-development performance.
- Identify performance gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
- Provide regular performance insights to Executive Management.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate relationships between management, clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
- PR & Corporate Partnerships
- Support client relationship management and service-delivery follow-up.
- Track commitments, actions and deliverables.
- Ensure effective communication and timely escalation of issues.
Business Operations & Administration:
- Coordinate day-to-day business operations and administrative processes.
- Ensure timely implementation of management decisions.
- Support procurement, contracts and vendor management.
- Maintain accurate business records and documentation.
- Drive process discipline, compliance and continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Coordination:
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver business priorities.
- Promote accountability, ownership and a performance-driven culture.
- Provide direction and support to administrative and operational personnel.
- Identify and escalate operational, financial and performance risks.
- Support organisational change and implementation of improved business processes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years’ relevant experience in business administration, business operations, finance, commercial management or performance management.
- Strong practical understanding of financial and business management.
- Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, business management/ERP systems and performance dashboards.
- Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related discipline will be an advantage.

Salary
N3,000,000 - N3,600,000 annually.
