Experience Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Compile and review statement of financial position, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to spot financial trends and irregularities.
- Build financial forecasts and assist with corporate budgeting.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure adherence to standard financial policies like GAAP or IFRS.
- Prepare and file accurate corporate tax returns.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits.
- Monitor and update internal financial controls to prevent fraud.
Leadership and Operations:
- Supervise, train, and review the work of junior accounting staff.
- Reconcile complex general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Recommend cost-reduction strategies and profit-maximization actions.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND, Master's Degree, or B.Sc with 7 - 15 working experience.
Salary
N800,000-N1,200,000 per month.
