Role Overview
The Engineering Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, managing operational data, monitoring performance, and providing clear insights to management.
This role focuses on planning, structure, reporting, and team coordination, complementing the technical expertise within the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee daily activities of the Engineering Unit across locations
Develop and manage engineering schedules, work plans, and operational workflows
Collate, analyze, and manage engineering data, reports, and performance metrics
Monitor compliance with engineering SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
Provide regular operational reports and insights to management to support decision-making
Support resource planning, workload distribution, and capacity management
Work closely with the Head of Engineering to improve structure, accountability, and execution
Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering operations, technical operations, or engineering coordination roles
Strong understanding of engineering workflows, project coordination, and operational reporting
Proven experience in managing teams, schedules, and operational data
Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
Ability to translate technical activities into clear management insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
